GuitarTricks Metal Lessons
The second best heavy metal guitar lessons online are at GuitarTricks.com. They have three great instructors who are providing metal lesson content. They have about 25 different metal lessons at the time of this writing and are adding a couple of new lessons every few weeks.

Like JamPlay, Guitar Tricks also offers backing tracks to practice along with has a busy online community. The cost for one month of GuitarTricks is $14.95, but they don’t offer live webcam sessions, also the instructors at JamPlay, especially David Hodges, seem to be a bit more hard core with the genre.

FreeGuitarVideos.com Metal Lessons
I’m mentioning FreeGuitarVideos.com because I have bought and used some of their lessons, however after I found the above two sites I never went back. FreeGuitarVideos.com sells lessons either individually or in sets of 3-5 videos.

The downfall to their metal guitar lessons is that their site isn’t membership based so your not getting any form of community, updated lesson content or backing track. Also the instructor who does their heavy metal lessons, Jody Worrell, is more of a rock and blues player rather then a metal player.
